What does “self-cleaning” mean?
The bowl auto-flushes every hour for 25 seconds, cycling water through a filter to keep it clean and clear. It does not fully clean itself, so regular maintenance is still needed. We recommend cleaning the bowl and filter every two to four weeks.
How do I clean the bowl, and how often?
Wash the bowl and splash guard by hand with mild soap. Rinse the filter basket under running water using the included brush. Wipe the sensor with a damp cloth before reassembling. Clean every 2 to 4 weeks, or more often for heavy droolers.
What’s included, and what requires a subscription?
The bowl works automatically out of the box with no app or subscription needed. An optional app subscription adds adjustable flush timing, quiet hours, and extended protection. The LED on top of the bowl controller shows status without the app
What’s the difference between the Wall Unit and the Bottle Pump?
The Wall Unit connects to your home’s water supply for continuous use. The Bottle Pump uses a standard 2–5 gallon water jug and requires no plumbing. Both include the same bowl, filtration system, and app features.
Can the bowl overflow or flood my floor?
The system includes built-in safety settings that help reduce the risk of overfilling.
