Does the Dogtra GPS Fence have real-time tracking?
There is no real-time tracking. However, after use, you can check the movement route and distance on the map in the app’s history.
Is there a monthly subscription fee?
No, our app does not have any monthly fees or subscriptions. All features will be available for free on the app.
Can I use it indoors?
No, the Dogtra GPS Fence collar is only for outdoor use. When you’re indoors, the walls and ceilings will block the GPS signals, which will confuse the collar and make it think your dog has left the safe zone.
How accurate is the GPS?
GPS is usually accurate within 3-15 feet. Set up your fence in a wide, open area with a clear view of the sky for best results.
Why 3/4-acres minimum? Can I use it on 1/2-acre?
On smaller acres, these zones can get compressed and may not give your dog enough space to learn and respond on the warnings. The system works best when there’s enough space in between each safety zone.
