All cholla has been carefully power washed in hot water (up to 200°F) to remove dirt and debris, ensuring safe use in habitats, aquariums, and as a natural hermit crab treat. Pieces may have natural imperfections: rough edges, odd angles, or broken shards. “Shards” simply means these are authentic, rustic pieces full of character.
